Being a nature and plant loving person, I?ve always considered
autumn as a very sad season! Autumn brings cold and dreary;
the plants are dying?what could be more depressing? Yet, I?ve
learned to love this season too because it brings a change of
colors in the nature and the beauty of these amazing colors
cheers me up, being pleasant to the eyes! I?m spending a long part of the day in the middle of nature because I have a German shepherd dog named Boss, whom I walk in the park three times a day. Our park, named "Alexandru Ioan Cuza", placed in Titan district ? the biggest district in Bucharest ? has been changing its face from one day to another, and in the past few years was very well taken care of. Everyday I see how they are digging, mowing the grass or planting new flowers, how they are pruning the trees or trimming the bushes, it seems there?s always something to be done because our park is so big!
As soon as you enter the park, it shows its entire splendor, with the round fountain, lighted during the night, which is the main attraction for all people walking around the park. Although it is autumn, the fountain still sprinkles because the frost hasn?t come yet so it is no danger. The summer plants, from the flowerbeds near the fountain and other places in the park, have been changed with fall ones, Pansies and Mums, beautifully colored, truly a delight!
In autumn, the park changes its appearance every day. Every morning, I?m astonished to see more colored leaves which weren?t there the day before, much more leaves on the ground, on the alleys; even the sunrise looks different, and it?s more mysterious in a fall morning. The pale sun is shining lightly through the leafless trees, caressing us with its warmth. The lime-trees guarded alleys, spotlighted by the sunbeams, seem to come from a fairytale with fairies and knights in shining armor. I?m walking on the yellow-golden carpet, delighted by the beauty of the view.
