Galati City is placed near a famous Romanian place : the Danube Delta. The region was inhabited since 500 B.C. Now is a modern city with an airport, a railway station, tall buidings, academic life, industrial companies, a big harbour etc. Don’t loose the opportunity to visit Garboave Forest, a natural oak tree reserve, and "Ostrovul Prut" park, both situated near the city.
